As a Polarity Client, I have found the effects to be life changing. I told myself I would give Polarity a try three times, and if I saw a difference I would explore it more as an option for me. It has been over two years and I continue to have Polarity sessions. After my first session, I was more relaxed physically and energized emotionally than with a just massage, which I had been doing regularly. By my third session, my personal time line, I understood that what it actually meant to be "balanced". I could tune into my body, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually in ways I did not know was possible. I can now tell when I need a Polarity session... I can tell when I have an imbalance. I make an appointment and I am able to walk out in an hour with a new perspective and keep things from physically manifesting to something chronic. Aside from sessions, I highly suggest taking the beginning classes of APP just for your own personal knowledge. I have been participating in polarity work at the Columbus Polarity Center for the last twenty years. Initially, I had very limited mobility following knee surgery from a sports injury. Thanks to this work, I was able to regain almost full functioning of my knee, making it possible to again participate in the activities (biking, tennis, and hiking) that I love! The orthopedic physicians had told me I had achieved all the return functioning I would get but with several months of polarity, I went far beyond their expectations, & moved from despondency to a reclaimed joy in my movement! Then 11 years ago, I experienced a brain illness that paralyzed my left side, robbing me of my ability to walk, to see clearly, to move my left arm. Again, I turned to polarity work as a part of my healing regime. This time it was a neurosurgeon telling me that I might not walk again. But with polarity work to keep my channels open & my energy balanced, I healed much more quickly & again regained much of my functionality. I have actively participated in my healing process throughout these 20 years--and I believe polarity work has been an important, stabilizing force in this process.

Polarity Therapy has enhanced my life in many ways. Before discovering Polarity I was plagued with headaches, joint aches, cravings and terrible PMS symptoms. I came to an open house at The Center to have my first partial session, after that I was hooked! I now receive a polarity session every other week and I no longer have the headaches, joint pains, or PMS issues.
